I am Wilhelm Bierwagen from a family farm near Herzbruck which is a days cart ride from Nuremburg. The youngest & smallest of 6 brothers, in the family I was known as kleine Wilhelm. Being the youngest & not likely to inherit the family farm I joined up with a landsknecht company to make my fortune. Quickly riseing through the ranks to become the fandrich.
My wife, Heike, is my village sweethart. Her father was the local wheelwright and he joined the baggage train to build and repair carts. Each Landsknecht is allowed one frau, so he brought along his wife Liesellotte, sadly he got sick and died leaving Lieselotte in my care along with my wife and our 2 children.
